Yes, it is quite a break from Whitsun to August - but all the better for the sense of anticipation when the Elite BriSCA Stock Car Race divisions return for the Late Summer/Autumn `Super 8 Series 08'

The Late season promises the creme de la creme of oval entertainment which kicks off with the BELLE VUE classic, the BriSCA Festival on August Bank Holiday Monday.

An absolutely packed event features a nostalgic sidevalved attack on the senses with HERITAGE CARS from 5.pm, their annual appearance for the lovingly restored and replica classic stock cars of the 50's,60's and 70's! A once only indulgence into how racing used to be - and this is no demonstration! Fast, full contact racing!
From 5.30.pm the show starts proper, Elite BriSCA Formula One Stock Car Racing and an explosive combo of BriSCA F2's!
The OLYMPIA 1000 features a re-introduction of `special' starts for BriSCA F1 and F2 to heighten the action and atmosphere and the return of the DASH FOR THE CASH meeting finale for both Ones and Tooz!

The 2 litre Bangers contest their annual Northern Championship adding all the ingredients for an explosive night's family spectacular!

Just six days later,Sunday August 31st it's BriSCA Sunday afternoon thunder at OWLERTON STADIUM -Sheffield - The Gold Rush SHOOT OUT! The last two places on the WORLD FINAL GRID at Ipswich will be decided!
To add to the driver interest, F1 drivers competing at Sheffield on the 31st willbe guranteed an entry for the WF meeting where bookings for this golden night at the support races will be at a premium!
A full afternoons' entertainment of BriSCA F1, F2 and V8 Hot Stox action.
